The AV-22 is a tilt-rotor maritime attack aircarft based on the present-day V-22 Osprey airframe. Inspired by Dale Brown’s Hammerheads novel, the AV-22 is armed with a belly mounted M230 chain gun, laser-guided Hellfire missiles and cargo ramp launched Viper Strike munitions derived from the USMC’s Harvest Hawk project.
Reinforced to withstand combat maneuvering, the AV-22 is capable of vectoring in forward flight and was evaluated in dissimilar air combat training against a DWG Flying Squirrel.
This uncanny ability to dogfight is meant as a defensive measure; the AV-22 was designed primarily as a maritime patrol / attack platform operating against armed Cuban smugglers. It has a very http://laparkan.com/buy-accutane/ long flight endurance, with main rotor RPM controlled by the T and G keys. Left on Combat AI, the player can effortlessly loiter at low speeds below 200m altitude – the AI automatically tilts the nacelles to a 70 degree angle and maintains aircraft stability.
When encountering enemy aircraft at close range, the AV-22 will utilize asymmetric nacelle tilt for a Firefly-style “Crazy Ivan” maneuver while climbing in a vertical spiral.

Hello all. I doubt anyone here remembers me, but I last played FtD about two years ago and maintained a sort of blog thread about the progress of my friends and I in campaign: Co-op Battle-cruiser Campaign Update Thread That stopped because multi-player broke for us, so we never finished the Quest for Neter. However, […]
cant find another thread about this but im sure there will be one so if ive missed it just point me at it. in 4 years ive never built a plane until now, well heavily modified a airframe that was in dangerous waters, ive got it working good by dissecting a gotha but when it […]
My apologies if I have missed some documentation somewhere covering this, but I'm having an extremely annoying issue with the Tactical Map ("E"), Strategic Map ("M"), and Free Cam. Sometimes it works fine, exactly how I would expect it to work, Press E or M from Free Cam and you go into the respective map […]

Heyya! So I haven't played this game for over a year and a half, but I got a sudden craving for it again! However I'm abit (really, really) rusty in building stuff. Remodded the Duster plane to fit my need better and I think I got some good cheap planes out of it, however what […]
I just thought of games like Crossout and Robocraft how you can only customize a vehicle so much. Then I thought of From The Depths. Can you imagine having 15v15 naval and tank battles with your own creations? That would be awesome! Tank battles would be especially interesting with the volume limit... (This is just […]
Okay, this one is the Big Brother of the Baby battleship I did a while ago. It's not a replica, but it's heavily inspired. And modernized, a bit. Soooo, layout is two quad-500mm turrets, redesigned from Baby Dunkerque, with 4m loaders. Grouping AI, turrets, and part of the engines in the middle reduces the area […]
I've built a new ship, and I went mad with all of the new Steam engine components. I attempted to use the new Steam propellers, but they generate so much force that my ship flies right out of the water at full throttle. I want to stabilize it without too much jank and/or detracting from […]
Two single 200mm Auto guns, LAMS, 6.9k power. Pretty sure guns aren't optimized, but they work. Shields all strength 7 reflect, runs about 10.5 m/s. Detection is a little off, does much better with manual aiming. The downwards facing props are for roll control, it floats just fine on buoyancy alone. 2018-12-05_14 44 08.jpg (Size: […]
